For the proposal I wanted to do the grand proposal with all the bells and whistles but that really isn't who we are. Our 1-year anniversary was October 21, 2016 and it was very laid back and I could tell that it annoyed her a little bit but of course I wasn’t phased because I had other plans. That Sunday October 23, 2016 I had 2 front row seats to see her favorite artist Anthony Hamilton at the Lakefront Arena. That morning I watched her mope around the house as she made breakfast while cleaning our home. I knew at the moment it was the perfect time, not in front everyone just us. I had her to come sit next to me because my bad knees wouldnt allow me to get on down one knee. I asked her for her hand and told her how much she meant to me and it would make my forever perfect by being my wife and she tearfully said YES!!!
Tyisha and I struck up a friendship through Facebook. After a few months of casual laughter and conversations I finally asked her on a date I thought it would be cool to get to know her better. At the time I didnt have much money but I knew that I just wanted to see her and just be in her presence. We went to Bud Broiler near City Park and took our meals to the Lakefront. We talked about everything under the sun as we begin to bond, even speaking of wedding plans I knew in my heart at that moment I had a special feeling for her something I never really felt before. After our first date we've been together everyday since that day.
